This Privacy Policy explains how the Newport Beach Police Association (“NBPA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you use our online simulators and related web pages (the “Site”). The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses a small amount of browser local storage to remember that you have provided your details and accepted the notices. The Site also loads third-party resources needed to work, described below, which may set their own technical cookies or receive your IP address as part of delivering their content.

The simulators load mapping, font, and routing resources from third parties, including OpenStreetMap and the OSRM routing service, CARTO basemap tiles, Google Fonts, and the City of Newport Beach’s public calls-for-service data feed. Your use of those resources is subject to the respective providers’ terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party practices.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the “Effective date” above will be updated. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
